Teacher Katie Fudge said: “Since the improvements, the positive impact on the children has been evident even at this early stage of the academic year.
“As the year continues, we expect to see the positive impact on the children’s learning to continue.
“This is because this area provides opportunities for children to excel in their physical, communication and language development, as well as managing their feelings and behaviours.

The design of the area also ensures children at the school get ample opportunities to be expressive, to support their creativity skills and their well-being.
The school believe the area is a vital new facility.
Miss Fudge added: “We feel the new area has made the environment even more welcoming, exciting and enjoyable for the children’s first year at Swallowdale.
“The improvements and feedback have been phenomenal, so much so that the area is now open for the rest of our Key Stage One pupils to use during their play times.”
