Sherrard Street closed for the weekend for pipe repairs
The major town centre road was flooded this morning (Friday) following the rupture and barriers were erected to prevent vehicles travelling along it.
Work teams from Severn Trent have been on site all day and a large hole has been dug to allow them access the broken pipe.
