Camera car monitors parkers outside Melton school
The Limes Avenue school is one of 32 across the county taking part in a 12-month trial clampdown on those who block others in, or who park on prohibited zig zag zones.
A camera enforcement vehicle will regularly patrol the streets outside Brownlow looking to capture evidence against transgressors.

Hide AdLeicestershire County Council’s £500,000 ‘School Keep Clear’ scheme aims to address concerns that parents, residents and teachers have about parking during the school run.
Councillor Blake Pain, cabinet member for environment and transport said: “We’re launching the scheme which essentially makes more zig-zag zones enforceable outside schools, and we believe it will go some way to alleviating concerns.”
Enforcement officers will continue with their normal duties, while the camera car will use automatic number plate recognition technology so officers can collect the necessary evidence to enable fines to be issued, via post, to drivers who park on zig-zag markings.
