Lakeview angling: Cuthbert and Hall through to Middy final
Andy caught shallow on maggot, with a mix of carp and F1s to finish ahead of Steve Cuthbert who caught 49lb 8oz off peg nine on serpent. Steve caught on bread shallow to earn a place in the final on Saturday, March 19.

Hide Ad* Strong wind and rain didn’t deter 10 anglers from fishing Saturday’s qualifier.
Matt Hall won with a weight of 67lb 13oz off peg six on canal, catching on pellet, fishing across to the left and right, to make the final.

Ken Daws was lucky enough to draw the golden peg on lagoon which won him an extra £70 for winning the lake. Ken caught 58lb 3oz of carp and F1s off peg eight.
